Hot August Night Gallery

Hot august nights is one of the biggest nostalgic classic car events in the world with 500,000+ attendee throughout the 10 day event. The history of hot august nights is quite interesting, it all started one evening in august 1st 1986, the Reno-Sparks Convention Center was bursting at the seams with hundreds of revelers who were partying, cheering & pushing to be let in to a first-time event of a magnitude yet to be realized. Inside were 10,000 spectators massed together in anticipation of seeing & hearing a live event of the Righteous Brothers, Wolfman Jack, and Jan & Dean! The weather was hot & it was took place on august night, that's how the annual event got it's name. The aim of hot august nights was to fill the void in tourism in Reno during the month of August & to raise money for local charities.
