I was walking, heading to the downtown area until I seen some guy checking out someones car. After seeing the guy take a few photos, I got intrigued & began watching to see what is next to come. Turns out dude was a tow truck driver, getting ready to tow someone ride as soon as he confirms it's the right vehicle. After taking a few photos, he got into his truck & moved it in position. After he was in position, he grabbed the winch on the truck bed & got under the vehicle, attaching it to the car.
After getting the car hooked up to the tow truck, he started to pull it in but the dead beat of the vehicle didn't make it so easy. The cars emergency breaks were engaged as an attempt to prevent the car from being towed. That didn't stop this daring tow truck driver from doing what the dead beat driver of this car thought was impossible. As you could see in my video titled "someone's day just got worse", the car was inched to the car, literally being dragged inch by inch until it was on the bed. You could hear the tires scrapping against the ground while it inched forward to the bed of the tow truck.
At first glance, you wonder how could a old truck like that tow a vehicle that's in a crowded parking lot. That was my thought too until I seen the tow truck driver pull out this pulley to help guide the vehicle into position. The whole event took about 10 minutes, that includes when the tow truck driver pulled up & started taking photos with his phone. I do wonder if the tires are a little flatter than usual due to the dead beat driver engaging the emergency breaks.
