It was 11am when I left my home, making it downtown around 12am, I seen protesters. I'd walked right near the courthouse & started recording. Music playing while people honk their horns while zooming by, protesters holding up their signs along the bridge while some cross the street holding their signs to be read clearly. You have the occasional protester screaming into their megaphone. Some protesters were riding inside vehicles, spreading the word even farther. A few hours later, I see a few people walking up onto the arch, somebody called the police but as you can imagine, they just warned the protesters who climbed the arch.

After the police left, somebody in a tan or gold colored SUV did a hit & run on one a cyclist. I seen people on the other side running to the hit cyclist, one lady holding her phone up to the vehicle that hit the cyclist. After I seen the lady pretty much chasing the vehicle that did the felony act, I ran down with my camera. The cyclist that was struck in front of the protesters happened to be an older man.

The protest started to die down pretty quickly after the hit & run, some sticking around to file a police report to document what they may have witnessed. After about 20-30 minutes, the man who was hit on his bike was driven off to the hospital. The police stuck around to continue to collect information from the other protesters, I left to find a spot behind the believe sign so I could enjoy a bowl, I had to squeeze to get there since it's technically closed for winter.
